FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

(Click on the arrow to expand and see the answer!)

What else do I need for this program?

While we don’t require a subscription to CounselingExam.com, we highly recommend it. Barton will ask you to complete full exams and daily practice simulations to make the most out of his Final Countdown program. You can only find this through CounselingExam.com, which is a separate organization.

What if I have taken a workshop or Program cycle previously? Am I eligible for a discount?

If you are a previous Get it Done cycle participant and you are at minimum 50% paid with your partial payment plan, we will allow you to participate in the June 25, July 2, and July 9 Saturday workshops and Tues/Thurs Sim Review classes as part of your Guarantee. Please note that the BRAND NEW Study Guide that we are providing is available exclusively for The Final Countdown program participants, or for those who register separately or our brand new workshop on June 18: Strategies for Passing the NCMHCE.

If you have taken the 6-hour Decision Making workshop or the DSM-5 Deep Dive 20 hour course previously, we will allow you to deduct a portion of the program cost from this overall Final Countdown program. Please fill out our form here: https://passthencmhce.com/the-final-countdown-custom-pricing-request/

I want to do this program, but what if I can’t attend a live workshop or Sim Review Class?

We will make everything available via on-demand recording within the week. Workshops will be available for a minimum of 60 days; Sim Review classes will be available for a minimum of 14 days.

I’m really busy. Should I invest in this program?

Preparing for the NCMHCE exam is no easy task. We highly recommend that you cut out as many distractions as possible so that you can focus on passing. Otherwise you are delaying your licensure, and with that comes additional time and money needed to study and take the exam, as well as potentially missing out on increased income from lack of licensure. If you cannot spend 4 weeks focusing on preparing for this exam, you may need to rethink if you are ready to take the exam at all.

Which exam format should I take? The current one, or the new one that it switches over to on November 7, 2022?

We recommend you watch our free video discussing exactly this. Spoiler alert: we will explain why we believe it is better to focus on passing the current NCMHCE format rather than waiting until the new format is out. Watch here.

Why should I trust you?

1. Our team is reliable and responsive. We do what we say we will do, and we treat our students and their time with respect. Barton Bott has over 20 years of counseling and supervisory experience. He has been tutoring for the NCMHCE for years, and has offered live workshops weekly since 2020. If you have any questions, you can reach us at help@passthencmhce.com.

2. We have a LOT of testimonials from our students: Testimonials – Pass Your Counseling Exam (passthencmhce.com)

3. We use a secure payment processor, Paypal. If you register for a live workshop through our Zoom channel, you can always cancel your spot and it automatically refunds your money. If you pay for a product and do not get it, you can rest easy with Paypal’s Purchase Protection: PayPal Purchase Protection for Buyers – PayPal US. We NEVER ask for financial information, as you provide that directly to the secure payment processor.

4. We are partnered with the best. CounselingExam.com has been around for over 20 years and is the premiere service for preparing for the NCMHCE exam. We are their official partner, and we are proud to have earned that status.

If I sign up for your workshops or program, I automatically get access to CounselingExam.com, right?

No, that is NOT correct. We are proud partners with CounselingExam.com, and we highly recommend that you use their products. But as they are a separate entity, you must purchase their materials through their website. If you take one of our workshops or join our Final Countdown program, we are able to extend a generous discount to you in the form of a coupon code due to our partnership.

If you have any questions regarding the CounselingExam.com study subscriptions or other products, you can contact their team at csrlicensureexams@gmail.com.
