Domain 2 encompasses counselors’ knowledge, skills, and abilities to effectively conduct client intake, assessment, and diagnosis. It makes up 20-30% of potential questions in the overall NCMHCE exam.
Domain 4 encompasses counselors’ knowledge, skills, and abilities to develop an effective course of treatment. It makes up 10-20% of potential questions in the overall NCMHCE exam.

Domain 6 encompasses behaviors, traits, and dispositions of effective counselors. It makes up 10-20% of potential questions in the overall NCMHCE exam.
